

As a notetaker you will not complete a regular timesheet or receive a regular paycheck. Notetakers are categorized as Independant Contractors. Notetakers are not required to tutor the student or assist the student with out-of-class projects, assignments or homework. Notetakers are not required to meet with the student to provide the notes nor are they expected to review the notes with the student. Notetakers are expected to respond to any questions about their notes in a timely manner. Notes should be uploaded as soon as possible but no later than 24 hours after the lecture. Notetakers are expected to upload notes to the DAS system in order to receive payment. You are expected to make arrangements for a substitute notetaker in case of absence from class. Notetakers are expected to take neat, detailed notes during the assigned lecture. Notes are essential tools for learning and revision, therefore the work of a Notetaker provides crucial support.
